Just my two cents is not only he and his team are sick fast
but you are doing the race in his training backyard.
There isn't anyplace in JD that he hasn't been with us or
by himself.
So my pick for the Howl is definitely Team SportnSpa.

Remember, in adventure racing you are only as fast as your slowest person (even if the map was marked for them). You obviously are new to the AR scene and need to experience races in the field and not from the outside looking in. If Mike Moule showed up would your pick stay the same? Probably.

Hey there
I got a phone call this morning about some smack talking going on on the
adventurous concepts forum. I can see there is some things being said
about me and Team Sport n Spa. I want to make it known that none
of what is being said is supported by me or Sport n Spa. I enjoy racing
and everything that comes with it. My personally opinion is all the teams that
are racing is all against the race course not each other. There are so many strong
athletes in this sport anymore that it is very hard to judge personally strengths.

I haven't seen alot of my old racing competition in a long time
and I am very much looking forward to seeing all of you
once again.

stay strong and keep training

YEAH! FOOD at the finish.

That is very improtant. Hope the food is there around 3am, when we finish. We don't want to wait to eat.

Oh, Michael,? He's the slowest member on our team.

And, I really don't like those "Confirmation codes" I can't read them. Is not seeing well going to be a problem for the race.
The trail is totally marked. Right?

Ditto what JJ said. We have a healthy dose of respect for the teams in this race, as well as the challange that the course will no doubt provide. I am looking forward to seeing those of you that I know, and meeting those that I do not.

Good luck to everyone, see you on Sat!

Who is this? I need to know so that I can make sure to look for them crossing the finish line as we are sitting down, already showered and resting after having kicked major arse! =)

Unfortunately KK and TCO will be so far behind us that we will probably be already driving home by the time they finish. :)

Is there going to be 360 tracking available? My wife and cats are worried about me and want to know where I am at all times. ;)

She also wants to see how far in front we are in front of Manny.

Is there a link to the video that was shot at the Howl? Or is it available for purchase? I know there was some video shot of us having a "team moment" trying to change our 3rd flat tire that might be kind of fun to see. (a few minutes in I realized we were being filmed and tried to stop screaming profanity long enough to look like I knew what I was doing).

Thanks,

Yeah, we would be real interested in that video also as she was filming as we (Sweet BY & BY and The Bachelor Party) came out of the second swamp from hell and then as we discussed which way to go next! My part of that discussion was "I vote to stay on trail!"
